SETCO FOUNDATION RECEIVED OUTLOOK POSHAN AWARDS 2019
Outlook Group, one of the largest media houses in India and highly respected for its credible journalism, believes in the power of good nutrition that has the potential to transform the Sustainable Development agenda and unleash India’s human capital potential, giving the much-needed fillip to growth and productivity. As part of its commitment to making good nutrition an agenda for every household, with this spirit, it was decided to give away awards known as “Outlook Poshan Innovation Awards-2019” to acknowledge the exemplary efforts of individuals and institutions in the field of nutrition.
Setco Foundation, the CSR entity of the Setco Group has received
an Outlook Poshan Special Jury Award 2019 for its invaluable contribution to ‘Safe and Nutritious Food’. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Vice President of India Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu to Ms. Urja Shah, Managing Trustee & President of Setco Foundation. With an aligned objective of contributing to the nation's development, the foundation's integrated approach is highly resonating with the President's thoughts of intervening in agriculture, nutrition, traditional cuisine and culture. Expressing gratitude, Ms. Urja Shah said, "On behalf of Setco Foundation, we are proud to have this honour bestowed upon us. We, at Setco Foundation, strongly believe in giving back to society and have taken various initiatives towards healthcare, women's empowerment, child education and development, and youth sports in underdeveloped areas of Gujarat. This recognition is a testimony of the relentless efforts of our team and will surely act as a motivation booster to our integrated nutrition and early childhood development program."
